Isn’t this fun! It was mentioned to me that a Mario shoot was going to be taking place and would I like to make a hat for it. So I jumped at the chance!
I’ve also got a lot I can post right now 
Made with a funky glitter printed tulle
I found the fabric for this one in The Berwick Street Cloth shop in London. I have some in other colours too and will be making more. I’m going to be wearing one of these often!
Made using crin and lace
The second I had loads of fun making, it’s made using crin and lace. Not something I’ve used before, but it is fun! I’m going to be using it more in the future.
Guipure lace on wool felt bowler
On the bowler is another fabric from The Berwick Street Cloth Shop. It’s an amazing lace, they do have truly gorgeous laces there and a massive selection. I love the block for this hat, it looks amazing just on the shelf, mind you, many of them do!
This hat happened by accident. I was playing with the lace and then laid it down and this hat happened to be under it! Started a whole chain of thoughts, then I had fun applying it in this organic shape. I like how the two, white and black, soft and hard, feminine and masculine go together so well!
I have a new camera too, I hope it shows!
